How it works
Online, in order
Lessons open one after another and each has a minimum time. Your progress saves automatically. Log out when you stop for the day; a session times out after 15 minutes of inactivity.
Daily limit
OSHA limits training to 7.5 hours in any 24 hours, so OSHA 10 takes at least 2 days. The daily timer resets at midnight Central time.
Time to finish
You have 180 days from the day you start to finish the course, the final exam and the OSHA survey.
Proctored
We proctor this course ourselves. You photograph your ID and yourself before the course opens, and at random times while you train we ask a quick question only the person on that ID can answer.
To pass
70% or better on each lesson quiz and on the 30-question final exam. You get 3 attempts at each.
Card by mail
Your certificate is ready when you finish the course, the final exam and the OSHA survey. The plastic OSHA 10 card is produced by OSHA and comes by standard mail in about 4 to 6 weeks, to a valid US address.

At least 10 hours of OSHA Construction Outreach training. Most pages are narrated, lessons end with quiz questions, and the lessons are taken in order.

- A strong internet connection.

- A valid US mailing address. You verify it before the course opens, and it is where your OSHA card is sent.
- Photo ID
- A government photo ID. You photograph it before the course opens, and at random times while you train we ask a quick question about it.
- Language
- English. The same OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Construction courses are also sold in Spanish, with the same OSHA card at the end.

OSHA 10 counts as 10 of the 40 hours. OSHA 30 counts as 30.
The NYC SST Worker card is 40 hours of training. The 40 Hour Package covers all of it: OSHA 30 plus our 10-hour NYC SST course, with our review of your card application. If the SST card is what you need, start there instead of OSHA 10.
Questions
Is OSHA 10 enough for an NYC SST card?
Not by itself. NYC counts OSHA 10 as 10 of the 40 hours, so you still need 30 more. Starting from zero? The 40 Hour Package is the straight line: OSHA 30 plus 10 hours of SST.
How fast can I finish OSHA 10?
It takes at least 2 days. OSHA allows 7.5 hours of training a day. You have 180 days to finish.
What do I need to pass?
70% on the quizzes and the final exam. You get 3 attempts at each.
When do I get my OSHA card?
