Before you renew

When can I renew?

In the final 365 days before the expiry date printed on your card. Earlier and it does not count.

My card already expired. Renewal or new card?

Expired on or after May 3, 2026: you have one year to take the renewal course. Expired before that, or past the year: a new card, the full course again on top of a current OSHA card.

What if I bought the renewal and my card needs more?

Some cards are too old for a renewal and need a new-card course. If that is you, you keep what you bought and pay only for the missing course, not the whole price again. We tell you which one applies to your card.
