Questions
I was told I need "40 hours of OSHA." Is this it?
This is what they meant. No OSHA course is 40 hours long. The NYC Worker SST card takes 40 hours of training: OSHA 30 plus 10 hours of NYC SST. This package is both.
Can I do the two parts in any order?
Yes. Both open at purchase. Most workers finish OSHA 30 first.
Already have OSHA 30?
Then do not pay for it twice. Buy the 10-Hour SST on its own. We review your OSHA record before your card application.
How fast can I finish OSHA 30?
It takes at least 4 days, here or anywhere. OSHA allows 7.5 hours of training a day. You have 180 days to finish.
What do I need to pass?
70% on the quizzes and the final exam. You get 3 attempts at each.
When do I get my OSHA card?
Your certificate is ready when you finish. The card comes by mail in 4 to 6 weeks, to a valid US address.
Does this count toward an NYC SST card?
Yes. We proctor this OSHA 30 Construction course ourselves with photo ID checks. It counts as 30 of the 40 hours.
