This Delivery Policy explains how SST.NYC delivers its products and services after purchase. Because we sell a combination of digital courses and physical SST cards, delivery methods vary by product type.


1. Digital Course Delivery

All SST.NYC online courses are delivered digitally and immediately upon successful payment.

  • Instant Access: Your course is available immediately after your payment is confirmed. No waiting, no shipping.
  • Enrollment Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation with your login credentials and a direct link to your course within minutes of purchase.
  • 24/7 Availability: Once enrolled, you can access your course at any time from any device with an internet connection — desktop, tablet, or mobile.
  • Course Access Duration: You retain access to your course materials until you complete the course. There is no expiration on access unless otherwise stated in the course description.
  • Progress Saved: Your course progress is saved automatically. You can stop and resume at any time.

Technical Requirements for Course Access

  • A reliable internet connection (broadband recommended for video lessons)
  • A modern web browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge (latest version recommended)
  • A valid email address you check regularly for course updates and notifications

2. NYC DOB SST Card Delivery

Upon successful course completion, SST.NYC processes and mails your official NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) Site Safety Training (SST) card.

How It Works

  1. You complete all required course lessons, quizzes, and the final exam with a passing score
  2. SST.NYC verifies that you have met all NYC DOB requirements under Local Law 196
  3. We submit your SST card application to the NYC DOB on your behalf
  4. Your physical SST card is mailed to the address you provided during enrollment

SST Card Processing and Delivery Times

  • Processing Time: SST cards are typically processed within 5–10 business days after course completion and NYC DOB verification
  • Shipping Method: Cards are sent via USPS First Class Mail
  • Estimated Delivery: Allow 7–14 business days for delivery after your card enters processing
  • Total Timeline: Most students receive their SST card within 2–4 weeks of completing the course
  • Delays: Processing times may be affected by NYC DOB backlogs, holidays, high enrollment volume, or USPS delays

Address Accuracy

Your SST card will be mailed to the address on file with your account. Please ensure your mailing address is correct before completing your course. To update your address, contact us at support@sst.nyc before your card enters processing.

Lost or Undelivered Cards

If your SST card has not arrived within 21 business days of your processing confirmation email, contact us at support@sst.nyc. We will verify your mailing address and investigate with the NYC DOB. Replacement cards may be subject to a reprint fee if the original was delivered to the correct address.


3. Worker Wallet Cards

Worker Wallet physical cards are mailed separately from your SST card:

  • Processing Time: 3–5 business days after order confirmation
  • Shipping Method: USPS First Class Mail
  • Estimated Delivery: 7–14 business days after processing
  • Tracking: Contact support@sst.nyc for status updates

4. Live Zoom Courses

For live virtual instructor-led courses conducted via Zoom:

  • Confirmation Email: You will receive an enrollment confirmation email immediately after purchase
  • Access Instructions: Zoom meeting links, class schedule, and joining instructions are emailed 24–48 hours before the scheduled class session
  • Check Your Spam Folder: If you do not receive your Zoom link, check your spam/junk folder or contact us at support@sst.nyc

5. Delivery Issues

If you experience any of the following, contact us immediately:

  • Did not receive your course enrollment confirmation email
  • Cannot log in or access your course after purchase
  • Did not receive your Zoom class link before the scheduled session
  • SST card not received within 21 business days of processing notification
