How It Works

2. DOB issues it digitally — Your card appears in the Training Connect app within 1-3 business days.
3. We print and ship it — Physical card mailed via USPS Priority (free shipping). Arrives 2-3 days after processing.
4. Carry it on site — Show it to inspectors. Scan it with the Training Connect app. Keep your job moving.

Note: This is NOT an SST card. It’s a separate credential that consolidates specialty training. You still need your SST card for general site access.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this replace my SST card?

No. Your SST card (10-Hour or 32-Hour) is still required for general site access. This card consolidates specialty training credentials like scaffold, rigging, and gas piping. You need both.

What if I only have one certification?

Still worth it. The DOB requires the Worker Wallet Card for all specialty certs. If you have a Scaffold User cert (SCA-212), it goes on this card. Plus, when you add more certs later, they’re automatically added to the same card—no need to order a new one.

How long does it take to get the card?

Digital version: 1-3 business days in the Training Connect app. Physical card: 2-3 days USPS Priority Mail after DOB issues it digitally. Total time from order to mailbox: 3-6 business days.

What if I lose it?

Order a replacement through us or the DOB. Since all your certs are consolidated, you only replace one card instead of seven.

Do I need the Training Connect app?

Yes. Inspectors can scan your card using the app to verify your credentials. Download it from Google Play or the Apple App Store. It’s free.

Can I add certifications to my existing card?

Yes. Complete additional training, submit proof to the DOB, and they’ll update your digital record. Your physical card shows all certs when scanned.

Is this card accepted on all NYC job sites?

Yes. It’s issued by the NYC DOB and recognized across all city construction sites. If an inspector asks for your scaffold card, you show them this. It’s digital + physical proof.
